It's Fred Studio

After creating It's Fred and many, many ornaments with paper, I realized that I needed a place to post about the projects I'm making with other materials. Some limited editions, commissioned projects, collaborations with other artists and some experimentation are part of It's Fred Studio.

Halloween Boxes (2023)

Art Piece: Relationships (2021)

Title: Relationships

Year: 2021

Medium: Paper

Description: Kinetic cylindrical structure made of paper. Suspending in the center of the piece, there are two flat circles painted red and gold. The light at the base of the structure changes its color every few second, playing with the optical illusion of movement that involves every element of the piece.

Title: It crumbles

Year: 2021

Medium: Paper

Description: A kinetic artwork entirely made of paper, making it even more vibrant with the use of LED lights. A DC motor and couple of acrylic details were used to help the spinning of internal gears.
